What is "Tight-sleeved Kimono Shirt"?
Shin-i = Shirt in Japanese
Tube-like tight-sleeved shirt is a Kei-i original design kimono shirt.
・Fabric made by Sakao Orimono.・Made using Chizimi Cotton 20/20 Circulor washing-processed fabric by Sakao Orimono.
“20/20” refers to fabric woven with 20-count yarn for both the warp and the weft.
About the texture: Similar to shirt-weight fabric suitable for year-round wear. (The higher the yarn count, the finer the yarn and the thinner the fabric.)
・Dyed using Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing.
・Stand-collar design.
・A slim silhouette which allows you to bundle up without looking bulky.
・Uses buttons that are made of natural shells.
・Uses "Kohaze" (slide hook closure) closure strings to replace button holes.
・The sleeve openings can be adjusted by the buttons.
※Due to the nature of Kyoto Stencil Yuzen dyeing, patterns are created by repeatedly applying stencils onto plain fabric. As a result, slight seam lines known as “katakuchi” may appear where the stencil patterns connect.＞About "Katakuchi"
※Due to the nature of dyeing process, uneven dyeing and color fading may occur.

【About Chizimi Cotton】
・Produced in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, with a long history dating back to the Edo period. Strongly twisted weft yarn creates a distinctive crepe texture that feels cool and breathable.
・Because the textured surface reduces contact with the skin and allows moisture to evaporate easily, it is said to lower the perceived temperature by about 2°C.
・Excellent sweat absorption, quick-drying, breathability, moisture absorption, and moisture release properties.
・・Takashima chizimi cotton, which has benefited from the natural resources of Lake Biwa, boasts the highest production in Japan.

When dyeing Chizimi Cotton, color may not fully penetrate into the deeper crepe texture of the fabric.
The Circulor washing-processed fabric used in this product has elasticity (Stretch rate: approx. 120%), making it comfortable and easy to move in.

【How to wash Kyoto Stencil Yuzen (hand-printed) Dyeing products】
・Please wash separately at the beginning.
・Please put it in a laundry net and wash by machine.
・Do not hand-wash. As the dehydration is weak, and the dye may start to dissolve in the water causing migration or bleeding.
・The same applies to soaking the garment.
・To avoid the risk of dye migration, please use a neutral detergent and hang dry in the shade immediately after washing.
・Do not wash with white or light color clothes.
・To preserve the texture of the crepe fabric, please refrain from using an iron.
・Color may transfer during use or due to friction.
・Due to the nature of the fabric, it has a certain degree of elasticity. Please adjust the garment to its original shape immediately after washing without stretching the sewn part excessively.
・Do not tumble dry
・Please wash separately at the beginning.
